Neal Cassidy
PERSONALITY As both Baelfire and Neal Cassidy he is selfless and kind. He always found a way to put others before himself, the main example being when he was with the Darlings, and, he sacrificed himself to the Shadow to keep them a family. And the numerous times he'd sacrificed himself for Emma and Henry. When he became Neal Cassidy, he became more lost and closed off. Alot more distant at the same time when it came to anyone in his life. Neal grew up honest, and, good hearted, despite everything that he had been through, and, that happened to him in his childhood. Neal became alot more childish as he grew up, due to the childhood that he didn't get to have, as a child, as well as stubborn, and, less willing to trust anyone completely. Likes: archery, sword-fighting, comic books, basketball, video games, his son, hot cocoa, New York, having fun, joking around, his friends Dislikes: Magic, his father's darkside, broken promises, being used, Neverland, that he was abandoned, the foster system, talking about his past, having to grow up too fast, losing his loved ones, never going after Emma, mayo, his father HISTORY Neal Cassidy was born as Baelfire and is the only son of Rumpelstiltskin and Milah. After the death of his mother, Rumpelstiltskin did everything for his son. After finding out he would lose his son to the Ogre Wars drafting he decided to do something about it and set out to find the dagger of the one known as The Dark One. After Rumpelstiltskin became the Dark One, Baelfire became scared of what his father had become and came up with a plan to make both him and his father free from this land and after his father agreed to go if he found a way he seeked the help of the Blue Fairy who gave him a magic bean. Baelfire found his father and told him that he had a solution and showed him the bean, Baelfire and Rumpelstiltskin headed up to a hill and Baelfire dropped the bean opening a portal, Baelfire was set to go, but, he saw that his father was having doubts about going through with it. Baelfire dragged his father to the portal and told him it was the only way to be together, when they were both standing over the portal, Bae was nearly through, but Rumpelstiltskin used his dagger to stop himself from going through. Bae was heartbroken that his father was backing out of their deal and Bae called him a coward as he fell through. Neal Cassidy On the other side of the portal after a long trip to Neverland, and aging out of the foster sytem, he became Neal Cassidy, a janitor turned on the run thief who met and fell in love with a woman named Emma Swan, who he was set to settle down with, however, he left her so that she could fulfill her destiny as the Saviour. Unknown to him, he became the father of Henry Mills. Ultimately, however, Neal died when he traded in his own life to save his father's, wanting his son to know that he was a hero in the end. After his death, Neal found himself in the Underworld, a place where people with unfinished business were sent. Neal assumed that his unfinished business must've been with his son, since he promised he'd see him again, and, he still hadn't kept that promise yet. With his time in the Underworld, Neal watched what his father had done to everyone, including Belle and Emma. And this only re-broke his heart, knowing that his father once again hadn't changed. When they visited the Underworld, and, tried to free Hook. Somehow it freed him from it too. Now he's back in Storybrooke, hoping to get back a relationship with his son, but, not before getting answers from his father. Hoping that he'd be honest with him, for the first time he could remember. RP SAMPLE Baelfire was enjoying his new life on the Jolly Roger, with this pirate who he used to fear and the crew that he was now a part of. Baelfire knew that he would've liked to keep a life with his father or even the Darlings, but, he didn't mind this pirate's life. Admittedly Hook had become a better father then his own father was in the end and he was glad that he finally found himself another family. Baelfire sat on his bed and looked out of the window, he saw that the boat was moving in the waves, and although they originally made him seasick, he was used to it now and he actually found the movement relaxing. He decided to close his eyes for a while as he was exhausted, as he slept many different images appeared in his head. Images of Wendy and the Darlings, images of Hook and the crew and unfortunately for Baelfire images of him and his real father Rumpelstiltskin also flew in there, as much as he tried to block them out they were in his head. Baelfire woke up and suddenly the images were gone. Baelfire sighed with relief, as for now he was able to forget the man he once loved and trusted. Baelfire walked around his bedroom on the Jolly Roger and suddenly found an old chest, he hadn't opened that before and decided to check out what was inside. All he found in there was old pirate stuff like bandannas and occasionally a sword or two. As he went further through the trunk he noticed something unusual in there, he noticed a pile of woman's clothes and was confused as there were no women as part of the crew, as he pulled them out, he noticed a piece of paper bundled up inside. He unfolded it and looked at it with total shock, he knew who this woman was, even though he hadn't seen her in a while. Images of him as a baby with this woman, the woman in the picture was his mother. Why did Hook have this picture? And why was it with all of these clothes? Baelfire suddenly remembered something that his father told him his mother had runaway with some pirates, could it be that Hook and the Jolly Roger crew were the pirates she had left them for. Baelfire decided to find out, he kept the picture out and placed everything else back into the trunk, but, not before taking a look at the clothes that were probably his mothers. He then placed them back in and stood up and after taking another look at the picture, headed to the upper deck to find Hook |
